Jan 7, 2019, Tulsa, Okla.: Spectrum LNG announces today it will restart production at its Ehrenberg LNG Plant in the first quarter of 2019. Production capacity is being offered under 1-3 year agreements in increments as small as 3,000 gallons per day. The plant has a demonstrated production capacity of 76,000 gallons per day.
The plant is strategically located 140 miles west of Phoenix, 235 miles from Long Beach, 221 miles to San Diego, 259 miles to Tucson and 324 miles to Nogales.
The plant was previously operated for eight years exclusively for a single customer under a long term agreement. Recent negotiations released Spectrum to restart production without any restrictions.
Spectrum will also offer optional delivery service with its production capacity using its fleet of LNG transport trailers and a third party trucking firm.
The company is also considering options for its Stroud, Oklahoma plant site. The 160 acre site was acquired in 2013. Construction commenced in 2013 but was suspended in late 2014 due to the energy market price collapse.
